What the grade 9's do in math

The grade 9's begin to work with the linear line concept of y=mx+b. They practice working with geometry, and simple algebra.

And a little of programming calculators, creating simple applications. I went to an advanced math school for 6th and 7th grades and we touched on basic triginometry (sp?) and I hope we dig a little more into that in 9th grade.

you normally dont do trig till senior year...
if youre advanced then you do it junior year..
if youre really advanced sophomore

hmm i did trig sophmore, but i wasn't advanced, but this was trig with the triangles... trig with graphs started junior year

ya, the triangle trig is what we did in 7th... something like using angle and distance to find height (i think i still remember how to do it 8-)
